Man Accused Of Stealing 50 Pairs Of Shoes From Famous Footwear In California

VENTURA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say 50 pairs of Converse and Vans brand shoes were taken during a burglary at Famous Footwear in Ventura.

The incident unfolded overnight Sunday at the shoe store in the 4800 block of Telephone Road.

It was there that authorities say they responded to a commercial burglary call.

Upon arrival, they learned that a man broke the front window of the business and entered just after 4 a.m.

Once inside, authorities say the suspect selected over 50 pairs of shoes, and fled.

No suspect information was immediately disclosed.
