Man, 26, Found Shot To Death On Long Beach Street

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com)  —  Authorities said a 26-year-old man was found fatally shot on a Long Beach street Sunday morning.

The victim has been identified as Guillermo Iturralde of West Covina, according to Lt. Larry Dietz of the LA County Coroner's Office.

The shooting was reported just before 1:30 a.m. at 11th Street and Walnut Avenue, said Long Beach Police Sgt. Brad Johnson.

Officers responded to a shots fired call and found the victim, authorities said.

Iturralde was declared dead at the scene.

"No one is in custody," Johnson said.

Officials did not reveal a possible motive for the murder.
