Man, 24, Receives Prison Term For Sexually Assaulting 3 Women

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A 24-year-old man was sentenced Friday to 50 years behind bars for sexually assaulting three women back in 2012.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Richard Kemalyan also ordered Allen Phillip Crews to register as a sex offender for life.

Earlier this month, Crews pleaded no contest to several charges.

Those charges included but weren't limited to: kidnapping, assault with intent to commit rape, kidnapping, and sexual penetration by a foreign object.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's office said in a written statement that two of the women were assaulted near 65th Street and Western Avenue in June of 2012.

A third victim, described as a 50-year-old woman, was beaten and raped at a bus stop.

No further information was provided.
