Man, 22, Ordered To Stand Trial In Grandmother's Death

RIVERSIDE (AP) — A Riverside County judge has ordered a man to stand trial in connection with the death of his grandmother whose remains were never found.

After nearly three days of testimony, Judge Angel Bermudez on Friday ruled there was enough evidence for 22-year-old Kyle McLean to stand trial.

Prosecutors claimed McLean killed his 71-year-old grandmother at her Murietta home last year.

Last July, 18-year-old Neil Erickson pleaded guilty to being an accessory to a felony by helping buy machetes and cleaning supplies.
