Man, 20, Arrested For Allegedly Breaking Into Selena Gomez's Calabasas Home

CALABASAS (CBSLA.com) — A 20-year-old transient was arrested for allegedly breaking into singer/actress Selena Gomez's Calabasas home.

Gomez and her friends heard a noise when they returned to her residence around 9:25 p.m. Sunday, according to Sgt. Fray Lupian of the sheriff's Malibu-Lost Hills Station.

A short time later, a man knocked at the door and asked if the star was home.

Gomez's friend shut the door on the man, Lupian said.

Gomez's security searched the property and discovered the man, later identified as Che Cruz, in a guesthouse. He was later taken into custody on suspicion of burglary.
