Malcolm Butler, Julian Edelman Celebrate Super Bowl Win At Disneyland

ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — Two New England Patriots were at the happiest place on Earth Monday to celebrate their team's Super Bowl XLIX championship victory.

Patriots rookie cornerback Malcolm Butler – who intercepted Russell Wilson's pass with 26 seconds left  -- and wide receiver Julian Edelman rode in an open-air jalopy alongside Mickey Mouse in a parade down Main Street just hours after their team's stunning victory over the Seattle Seahawks.

In the moments after their team's win in Arizona, the two players had declared where they intended on celebrating their win: "We're going to Disneyland!"

Edelman and Butler are now a part of an exclusive group of star athletes to utter those words, including teammate Tom Brady, Eli Manning, Michael Jordan, Joe Montana and John Elway, according to Disney officials.
