Low Visibility Prompts Ground Stop For Arriving Flights At LAX

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A ground stop was in effect for a short time Tuesday due to low visibility for flights arriving at Los Angeles International Airport.

The stop went into effect around 10:30 a.m., officials said.

Due to low visibility at LAX, a ground stop in effect for arriving flights with 1 hour or less to LAX. Pls check airlines for flight status

It was lifted approximately 30 minutes later.

Outbound flights were not impacted.

Passengers were advised to check with their airlines for flight status updates.
