Los Angeles Police Kill Man After Car Stop

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles police have shot and killed a man after stopping a car in South Los Angeles.

Police say a motorcycle officer pulled over a sedan on Century Boulevard about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, then shot a passenger who got out of the car.

The man's name hasn't been released.

The car drove off, and police are seeking the driver.

Authorities say they found two handguns at the shooting scene.

Other details of the confrontation haven't been released.
