Rep. Bass, City Attorney Mike Feuer Qualify For June Primary Mayoral Election
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — Rep. Karen Bass, City Attorney Mike Feuer and businessman Ramit Varma are the latest Los Angeles mayoral candidates to qualify for the June primary election ballot.
The candidates qualified after filing petitions with sufficient numbers of valid signatures, the Los Angles City Clerk announced Thursday.
City Attorney Mike Feuer and Rep. Karen Bass submitted their petitions on Tuesday but the City Clerk's Office had not finalized their status as of Thursday afternoon.
The deadline for candidates to file their nominating petitions is Wednesday at 5 p.m.
