Los Angeles Master Chorale Celebrates 50 Seasons With 2 Weekend Concerts

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The the Los Angeles Master Chorale is celebrating their 50th Season Anniversary!

Grant Gershon, the Music Director of the Los Angeles Master Chorale, visited the KCAL9 studios Tuesday to talk about the celebration this weekend at Disney Hall and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

A cultural icon heralded around the globe for its exceptional artistry, the chorus features 115 singers who perform choral music from the earliest writings to the most recent contemporary compositions.

The matinee and evening concerts, which feature 115 singers and a symphonic orchestra, are Saturday, Jan. 25 at 2 p.m., and Sunday at 7 p.m., at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Concert tickets range from $29 - $129.
