Drunken LA Man Climbing Tree Only Person Arrested In Boston Super Bowl Celebrations

BOSTON (CBSLA) – A drunken Los Angeles man climbing up a tree was the only person arrested during Sunday night's Super Bowl celebrations in Boston following the New England Patriots 13-3 win over the L.A. Rams.

Vincent Bredice, 21, was taken into custody at about 11:30 p.m. on charges of malicious destruction of property, disturbing the peace and drinking in public, according to the Boston Police Department.

Bredice was spotted by officers climbing a tree while drinking alcohol in Boston Common, police said, and ignored several requests to come down. He gave the officers a middle finger before continuing to climb up the tree. He was also kicking branches off of it, police added.

He was eventually removed and arrested.

Photos from local media showed several other fans climbing trees in Boston Common, a large downtown park, but no other arrests were made.
