Long Beach Shopping Center To Receive Multi-Million Dollar Makeover

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — A multi-million dollar plan to revamp a shopping center in Long Beach will be announced on Wednesday.

City Place, located in the downtown area along 4th Street between Pine Avenue and Long Beach Boulevard, is set to receive a makeover.

Officials explained the project is expected to take nearly four years to complete.

Authorities are expected to reveal construction plans at noon.

Residents can participate in by entering a social media competition to rename the center.
