Homicide Detectives Investigate Death Of Child In Long Beach
LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives Thursday investigated the circumstances surrounding the death of a child in Long Beach.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, deputies were sent just before midnight to a home located in the 2500 block of East Jackson Street.
The child was transported to a hospital and was pronounced dead.
At this time, authorities have not clarified the age and gender of the victim.
The investigation is ongoing.
