Ozomatli Kicks Off Levitt Pavilion Summer Concert Series

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Local band Ozomatli is kicking off the June 8 opening of the Levitt Pavilion's summer concert series in MacArthur Park, in what's known as a great opportunity for the community to enjoy free, live music.

Ozomatli visited the KCAL9 Studios Sunday morning and offered a preview of their multicultural sound. The iconic band shifts gears from electro-cumbia to garage rock, hip-hop, salsa, samba and funk, as well as East L.A. R&B and Pérez Prado mambo.

The concert series is organized by the Levitt Pavilion Greater Los Angeles & Pasadena, whose mission is to bring communities together and reinvigorate public spaces so that everyone can experience the performing arts.
