List: More Mass Shootings Occurred In U.S. In 2015 Than There Are Calendar Days In The Year

SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — More mass shootings have occurred in the United States throughout 2015 than there are calendar days in the year itself, according to a list by the website Reddit.

The site's 2015 Mass Shootings list suggests that, as of Wednesday's mass shooting in San Bernardino, California, in which at least 14 people were reported injured or killed, there have been at least 355 mass shootings in the United States.

For clarification, a mass shooting is widely defined as an incident in which four or more people are shot, while a similar incident in which four or more people are killed is additionally defined as a "mass murder".
