Light Plane Goes Off Runway After Landing At Fullerton Airport

FULLERTON (CBSLA.com)   —  Authorities said the pilot of a light plane lost control at Fullerton Airport upon landing anr ran off the runway.

Neither the pilot or the passenger were injured.

The incident happened just before 2:10 p.m., according to the Fullerton Fire Department.

"The pilot of a Piper PA18, tail number N906CC, lost control after landing and ran off Runway 24," FAA spokesperson Ian Gregor said. "Neither of the two people on board was injured."

The FAA is investigating, he said.
