L'Assiette Steak Frites Serves Up Delicious Courses On Its Spring/Summer Menu

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Owner and chef of L'Assiette restaurant Jacques Fiorentino stopped by KCAL9 Wednesday to show viewers what they are serving up on their spring/summer menu.

L'Assiette Steak Frites is a French brasserie, which is located on Melrose Avenue, that sets itself apart from the traditional restaurant by focusing on serving just one dish to perfection — steak frites.

Fiorentino recreates his favorite dish from home with coulotte steak prepared sous-vide and pan-seared, served with pommes frites that are prepared through an eight-step, 24-hour process and cooked in beef tallow. The dish is served in two courses, to ensure that the steak frites remain hot throughout the meal.

The grilled steak may be used during the summer months in dishes such as Sandwich De Bifteck and Salade Masion au Bifteck.

L'Assiette also has a late night menu available on weeknights from 9:30 p.m. to midnight and from 10:30 p.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday.
