LASD Deputy Shoots Suspect In Lancaster

LANCASTER (CBSLA) — A deputy with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department shot an adult male, identified as a suspect, Friday in Lancaster.

The man was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

The shooting occurred at 7:48 p.m. in the 1700 block of Avenue K, near 17th Street West, according to the department.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately disclosed.

The investigation was ongoing.
