LAPD Attempts To Break Up Cypress Park Party Between The 5 And 10 Freeways

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) - The Los Angeles Police Department attempted to break up what it called a "spontaneous rave" between the 5 and 10 Freeways in Cypress Park.
The party happened on a small strip of land under the freeway. Drivers were also stopped on a nearby overpass. It started out as a few hundred people, but officials say it grew to several thousand.
Fireworks were also seen going off, and a small fire was spotted along with people using laser pointers.
