LAPD Squad Car Struck In Mid-City Crash; Suspect At Large

MID-CITY (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a perimeter has been established after a Los Angeles police officer's patrol car was struck by another vehicle in the Mid-City area.

City News Service reports that the collision occurred Monday afternoon at the intersection of Robertson Boulevard and Beverlywood Street, according to LAPD Officer Matthew Ludwig.

The LAPD says the suspect fled the scene, but officers have since located the suspect's vehicle.

The perimeter has been established on Beverlywood Street and Holt Avenue.

Paramedics were called to the scene to treat the injured officer whose condition was not known.
