LAPD Seeks Suspect Who Shot, Robbed Woman In Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Police Tuesday continued their search for a man who shot and robbed a young woman in Hollywood.

The crime occurred around 10:20 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of North Curson Avenue, between Fountain Avenue and Sunset Boulevard, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

The woman, who is in her 20s, had just parked her car when the suspect attacked her, shooting her once in the upper leg and stealing her purse.

She was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in stable condition, according to authorities.

The suspect is described as a black man wearing a dark sweatsuit. He was seen fleeing the scene on a mountain bike.
