LAPD Seeks Public's Help To Locate Missing Woman, 74

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Police Department Friday asked for the public's help in locating a missing 74-year-old woman.

Lois Freda Washington was last seen on Aug. 19, around 7 p.m., in the 14200 block of Vermont Avenue, according to the LAPD.

Washington is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 173 pounds. She has black and gray hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a light blue jacket, brown top, blue jeans, black Nikes with green and blue soles.

The LAPD said Washington's family is very concerned for her safety.

Anyone with information as to Washington's whereabouts was asked to call Detective K. Merrill from the LAPD's Missing Persons Unit at (213) 996-1800 or 1-877-LAPD-24-7 during non-business hours or on weekends.
