LAPD Releases Security Video Of Deadly Stabbing To Help Identify Suspects

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police sought the public's help on Thursday to identify multiple suspects who are responsible for the murder of a 23-year-old man in the Westlake District.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers were sent at 10 p.m. on June 23 to the area of Rockwood Street and Union Avenue.

Upon their arrival, authorities located an adult man suffering from apparent stab wounds.

Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.

Officers have released security video in hopes that someone may have information regarding the incident.

A preliminary investigation revealed the victim was involved in a fight with multiple male suspects.

During the fight, the man was stabbed with an unknown weapon.

According to police, the motive for the attack remains unclear.
