NORTHRIDGE (CBSLA.com) — A Los Angeles Police Department officer and 6-year-old girl were injured Sunday when a patrol car and three other vehicles collided in Northridge.

Kevin Takumi reporting in Sky2 said the accident occurred about 4:45 p.m. at the intersection of Tampa and Parthenia.

Takumi said six people were injured. Only the officer and a 6-yeart-old girl were transported to the hospital, according to KCAL9's Tom Wait. Four other people were treated at the scene.

None of the injuries was serious, according to Wait.

The officer was taken to the hospital via stretcher and complained about being in a lot of pain, a police colleague told Wait.

The injured officer was driving with her lights and siren on when she collided with the driver of a black Audi, officials said.

Police would not say if the officer ran a red light at the intersection.

After the police car collided with the Audi, the Audi reportedly spun out and hit two more vehicles.
