LAPD Involved In Another Deadly South LA Shooting

SOUTH LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles Police say an 18- to 22-year-old Latino man in South L.A. with a gun was shot by police and died at a local hospital.

The incident was the second deadly officer-involved shooting in the area in as many days.

Police said they got a call at about 5 p.m. about a Latino man with a gun and he was eventually fired upon at Ascott Avenue and 46th Street. The man he was with was also detained. Police did not give details on why officers used deadly force.
