LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)  —  Police chased a stolen car suspect in Hawthorne Wednesday evening.

The chase started around 9:15 Wednesday evening. It ended in about half hour with the suspect getting a flat tire.

Sky 9's Stu Mundel said the chase started in South LA and that the LAPD was the lead agency in the pursuit.

The car appeared to be a Honda Accord.

Mundel said the suspect drove erratically.

After his front tire appeared to be going flat, the suspect drove into a Chevron gas station.

Police ordered the man out of the vehicle. After the suspect exited the vehicle, he appeared to try to make a run for it.

Officials used a stun gun on the suspect and he fell to the ground and was put in handcuffs.
