Man With Down Syndrome Reunited With His Relatives

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)   —  A young adult male who was unable to tell police who he is or where he lived has been reunited with his family, officials said Sunday.

The Los Angeles Police Department was asking the public to help them locate relatives of the young man who was found wandering in South Los Angeles.

Southeast patrol officers responded to a radio call of a "Found Subject in the 1300 block of East 111th Place."

The young man -- who apparently has Down Syndrome -- did not have any identification on his person. Officers have not been able to learn his name or where he lives.

No further information was available.
