Lancaster Boy Airlifted After Fireworks Accident

LANCASTER (CBSLA) – A boy was injured in a fireworks accident in Lancaster Wednesday night.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, a firework exploded in the boy's hand at around 9 p.m. in the 300 block of West Avenue J-9.

He was airlifted to Children's Hospital Los Angeles. His condition was not confirmed.

The L.A. County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
