Lakers Re-Sign Xavier Henry, Waive Kendall Marshall

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - The Los Angeles Lakers re-signed another member of last year's team, Xavier Henry, on a one-year, $1 million contract, according to reports.

Henry joins Nick Young and Jordan Hill as free agents signees from the 2013-2014 team, which had one of the worst seasons in franchise history.

Henry averaged 10 points and 2.7 rebounds last year before ending his season with an injured wrist.

On Thursday, the Lakers acquired Carlos Boozer by winning an auction after the Chicago Bulls used an amnesty provision Tuesday.

The Lakers have also cut Kendall Marshall. However, the team would still have interest if he goes unclaimed during the waiver process.
