Lakers' 2nd Round Pick Jordan Clarkson Out For 1 Week With Strained Calf

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Lakers will sit out guard Jordan Clarkson for at least one week with a strained calf in his left leg, the Lakers announced Friday.

Clarkson injured his calf during the second quarter of the Lakers' second game of the preseason Thursday against the Golden State Warriors.

The Lakers drafted Clarkson in the second round out of Missouri, where he played one season after spending two at Tulsa.

Clarkson is third on the depth chart at point guard behind Steve Nash and Jeremy Lin.
