Laguna Niguel Woman Faces Charges Of Stabbing Live-In Boyfriend To Death

SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — A 50-year-old Laguna Niguel woman will appear in court Tuesday on charges of stabbing her live-in boyfriend to death.

Michele Green is facing a murder charge with a sentencing enhancement stemming from what is alleged to have been the personal use of a knife, Senior Deputy District Attorney Mike Murray said.

Green is accused of stabbing 52-year-old Richard Begley on Saturday night. Orange County sheriff's deputies responding to a call of a man down found Begley on the front lawn of 24805 La Vida Drive about 8:40 p.m.

Begley, who lived on the block with the suspect, was stabbed in the stomach area, Murray said. The couple had an unspecified "domestic dispute" that led to the attack.

Green was being held on $1 million bail.
