1 Shot In Sylmar, Dyer Street Elementary Placed On Lockdown

SYLMAR (CBSLA.com) — One person was injured Friday in a shooting in Sylmar.

The incident was reported at 7:55 a.m. in the 12700 block of N. Herrick Avenue.

A woman was found shot and transported to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

Dyer Street Elementary School was put on on lockdown as a precautionary measure, according to the LAUSD.
