LAFD Firefighters Agree To Tentative Salary Contract

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — LA city firefighters have agreed to a tentative salary contract.

According to a Los Angeles Times report, firefighters would not receive a raise in the current fiscal year, but would get a 2 percent raise in the summer of 2015.

The contract would also increase longevity pay, as well as health and dental care.

It must be approved by approximately 3,000 LAFD firefighters.
