LAFD Crews Quickly Put Out South LA House Fire

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Crews Thursday quickly put out a house fire in South Los Angeles.

The fire was reported just before 6 a.m. in the 1400 block of E. 58^th Street, near Compton Avenue, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

When crews arrived on scene, they found an exterior structure on fire which was not directly threatening the home.

The fire was declared a knockdown at 6:10 a.m., officials said.

No injuries were reported.
