LAFD: 8 Injured After Car Crashes Into Mid-City Chipotle

MID-CITY (CBSLA.com) — A car crashed into a Mid-City Chipotle restaurant Friday, injuring eight people, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Crews were called to 4550 West Pico Boulevard, near South Mullen Avenue, shortly before 2 p.m. following a report of a single car into a building.

According to a LAFD spokesperson, the vehicle hit the storefront horizontally, causing only cosmetic damage.

One patient was transported to the hospital with a head injury. A second victim was transported with a neck and back injury and two others with chest pain, according to fire officials.

A family-of-four was also transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
