Lockdown Lifted At LA Valley College After Threat Made To Campus

VALLEY GLEN (CBSLA.com) — LA Valley College was on lockdown Monday for several hours after someone called in a threat to the campus.

Police received an anonymous call around 9:45 a.m. from a person threatening to cause harm, the LAPD said.

The school was placed on lockdown immediately. The campus was closed and all finals were canceled for the remainder of the day, school officials said.

The lockdown was lifted at 2:07 p.m.

The sheriff's department was assisting the LAPD.
