LA Kings Bringing Back Outdoor Ice Rink At L.A. Live

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles' largest outdoor ice rink is reopening at L.A. Live for the holiday season.

Locals will be able to skate under the stars beginning Nov. 28.

The 132-foot-by-80-foot rink will be open through Dec. 31.

The rink will be centered around a 66-foot artificial sequoia tree that will be decorated with more than 275,000 mini LED lights.

General admission is $17 and includes skate rental for purchased skating sessions.

VIP passes with front of the line access are available for pre-purchase by going to lalive.com/holidayice.

The rink will be at Microsoft Square at L.A. Live, 800 W. Olympic Blvd., in Los Angeles.

The first session will be Nov. 28 through Dec. 13 (Mon.–Fri. 5 p.m.-midnight; Sat & Sun. 3 p.m.-midnight).

The second session will be Dec. 14 through Dec. 31 (Mon. – Sun., 3 p.m.–midnight).
