LA Fire Department Providing Free Emergency Sandbags To Residents Throughout City

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Emergency sandbag materials are reportedly being provided to Los Angeles residents throughout the city by the city Fire Department Saturday.

Empty bags, along with sand to fill them, are reported to be available at no cost to residents at the following fire stations, offices and recreation centers:

• Station 3, 108 N. Fremont Ave., downtown.
• Station 5, 8900 S. Emerson Ave., Westchester;
• Station 6, 326 N. Virgil Ave., Angelino Heights;
• Station 19, 12229 W. Sunset Blvd., Brentwood;
• Station 21, 1192 E. 51st St., South Los Angeles;
• Station 23, 17281 W. Sunset Blvd., Pacific Palisades;
• Station 24, 9411 Wentworth St., Sunland;
• Station 26, 2009 S. Western Ave., West Adams;
• Station 27, 1327 N. Cole Ave., Hollywood;
• Station 28, 11641 Corbin Ave., Porter Ranch;
• Station 41, 1439 Gardner Ave., Hollywood Hills;
• Station 43, 3690 Motor Ave., Palms;
• Station 44, 1410 Cypress Ave., Cypress Park;
• Station 47, 4575 Huntington Dr. South, El Sereno;
