LA County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk's Office Launches New Website

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk's office launched a newly revamped website Monday.

The new site was launched in time for the upcoming Nov. 4 general election, according to officials.

"We need to recognize that having a user-friendly website is essential in an age where more and more people use the internet as their primary source of information and the first point of contact with the RR/CC," Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean C. Logan said in a statement.

The site was revamped so that it will be user friendly for users on both desktops and mobile devices.

Users of the site can register to vote, check voter registration status, find a polling place and look up a sample ballot. They can also check voter by mail application status.
