LA City And County Crews Knock Down Fire At Old Inglewood Car Dealership

LADERA HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) — Crews extinguished a greater alarm fire Tuesday morning at a former car dealership in Ladera Heights.

The fire was reported around 2:25 a.m. in the 5200 block of Centinela Avenue, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

Approximately 140 firefighters from both city and county departments responded to the blaze, which was knocked down just before 5:30 a.m.

No injuries were reported, but the LAFD said they found transients on the roof of the building when they arrived on scene.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
