LA-Based FBI Agent Dismissed From Bureau After Allegedly Engaging In 'Misconduct'

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A local FBI agent has been dismissed from the bureau after allegedly engaging in misconduct.

Special Agent Scott Bowman was assigned to the Los Angeles field office. The nature of the misconduct was unspecified.

"FBI personnel are held to the highest standards, and misconduct of any kind is taken seriously," Laura Eimiller from FBI Press Relations said.
