Krispy Kreme Offers Free Doughnuts To Seniors Who Show Up Wearing Cap And Gowns

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — Krispy Kreme offered seniors a dozen free doughnuts Thursday if they showed up wearing their cap and gown or showed proof of graduation.

After more than a year of major changes, local seniors said it was nice to be celebrated.

"It's such a big deal being able to graduate, you wait your whole life for this, and being on Zoom the whole year was definitely tough," said one senior.

"But we all got through it, so the fact that they can help us celebrate by doing that for us. it's awesome."

Seniors who missed the deal Thursday can still buy the 2021 Graduate Dozen until Sunday.
