A man and a woman are in custody after an hours-long manhunt following a police pursuit that ended in a crash in Koreatown early Friday morning.

Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department spent hours looking for a man who fled from the crash into a large apartment complex. According to the LAPD, the man changed outfits several times and was moving from floor to floor before he was eventually arrested just before 7:30 a.m.

The woman who also fled the scene on foot was taken into custody earlier in the morning after she was bitten by a K9, the LAPD said.

The LAPD initiated a pursuit of a possibly stolen vehicle shortly after midnight near Beverly Boulevard and Normandie Avenue in East Hollywood. The pursuit ended after the driver crashed the vehicle into a wall near Sixth and Irolo Street.

No injuries were reported from the incident.
