Kole Calhoun Out For 4-6 Weeks With Injured Ankle

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) - The Angels' lead-off hitter Kole Calhoun is placed on the 15-day disabled list with an injured right ankle.

Calhoun, who could be out for up to six weeks, injured his ankle while attempting to beat out a play at first base against the Oakland A's.

According to MLB.com, Calhoun was on crutches after the game.

The young outfielder started off fantastic, hitting .297 and .500 slugging percentage.
