Kobe: Not Cool With Steve Blake Being Gone AT ALL

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - As the trading deadline expired at noon Pacific time Thursday, it didn't take long for  Steve Blake's former teammates to speak out against the trade that sent him to the Golden State Warriors Wednesday.

Kobe Bryant, who is recovering from a knee injury, expressed his frustration and sarcasm on twitter.

"Not cool with @SteveBlake5 being gone AT ALL," Kobe tweeted out. "One of my closest teammates and psycho competitor GS picked up gem #smartmove"

Pau Gasol, who surprisingly survived the trade deadline, was another player who didn't like the acquisition.

"It was hard for me to see him [Blake] go," Gasol said at practice. "I appreciated him as a person and player. I love what he brings to the table. He's been here through the tough times.

Blake, 33, has played in 27 games this season with the Lskers, averaging 9.5 points and 7.6 assists.

Blake is expected to make his Golden State debut Thursday night against the Houston Rockets.
