Kobe Breaks Twitter During His Final NBA Game
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - Kobe Bryant said goodbye to the NBA world Wednesday night - and broke Twitter in the process.
Fans got an early start on tweeting their favorite Kobe memories, moments, or just saying goodbye to the Laker legend using multiple hashtags, including #MambaDay, #ThankYouKobe, and #MambaMemories.
For a brief moment during Bryant's final game - and on his way to a farewell 60-point performance - Twitter apparently crashed and wouldn't allow users to refresh their feed or send out any tweets.

Later in the game after Twitter solved the issue, the Lakers' official Twitter account went down, causing more pandemonium.

Twitter and the Lakers were eventually able to figure out the issue and had the account back up and running with about eight minutes left in the game, just in time to catch his final game-winning comeback.
