KNX Spotlight On Schools: Making The Grade

(KNX 1070) — Schools in the United States are rated 35th in the world in the areas of science and mathematics.

On Thursday at 10 a.m., KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO will focus on what changes need to be made for our classrooms to make the grade.

Anchor Diane Thompson and chief investigative reporter Charles Feldman will explore whether our schools are relics of the past.

The radio station will explore why students in Finland do better than students locally.

KNX will also compare public schools with charter and private schools, as well as home schooling,

California's Teacher of the Year will be featured during the segment, as well as a parent of a school-aged child.
