KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO Honored With National Edward R. Murrow Award

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - For the first time in nearly half a century, KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO has won a National Edward R Murrow Award, one of the most prestigious news awards in the country.

KNX 1070 won the Large Market Radio award for Breaking News, one of three awards won by CBS RADIO.

In addition to Breaking News, CBS RADIO also won in the network newscast category and picked up an Overall Excellence award.
