Knife-Wielding Man Steals Cash, Beer From Stanton Liquor Mart

STANTON (CBSLA.com) — A man used a knife to threaten a clerk to steal cash and beer from an Orange County convenience store.

The suspect, wearing a black Raiders hoodie, waited behind a customer at the La Pico Liquor Mart in the 10400 block of Beach Boulevard in Stanton, then threatened the clerk, the Orange County Sheriff's Department said.

The man, believed to be in his 20, stole several hundred dollars in cash from the store and beer from a customer.

He fled the scene in a dark SUV.

No one was hurt in the robbery.
