Kitten Nursery Unveiled In Long Beach

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles unveiled a special living space for kittens in Long Beach.

The "Kittenry" will give the baby felines room to play while they are waiting for a permanent home.

The new digs were made possible by a group called Wall-Walkers.

"Most of our cats are housed cage-free and in the past, we've used cat condos or some of the smaller exhibit booths to house litters of kittens together where they can play, and it's nice, but it's not this," spcaLA's Madeline Bernstein said

All the kittens are microchipped, have their shots and have been spayed or neutered.
